Most recently the team announced the singing of catcher Tomas Nido along with outfielder Tommy Pham to the roster.

Nido has been tremendous in aiding the Mets starters during the course of his career. During the 2022 season Tomas was a finalist for the Gold Glove Award, after manning the backstop for a career-high 96 games. In addition to being a tremendous defender, Nido has been able to record a .239 batting average, tallying 31 runs.
