Fans can catch a first glimpse of the 2022-23 St. John’s Women’s Basketball team at the open practice at Carnesecca Arena on Saturday, Oct. 15.
The two-hour practice will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by an introduction to this year’s roster, a Q&A session with current Red Storm players and will conclude with an autograph session.
Seven players return for the new season and six newcomers, including four Division I transfers, joined the Red Storm during the off-season. Head Coach Joe Tartamella enters his 11th season at the helm for the St. John’s program. Last year, Tartamella became the winningest head coach in program history, having earned 182 victories during his tenure in Queens.

The Johnnies will open their season on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m., when they welcome Monmouth for the front-end of a doubleheader with men’s basketball team.
