Washington Mystics Practice as team prepares to take on Wings

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes of a WNBA team, there are countless practice sessions and each one featuring different themes for the team to help them prepare for whoever they are facing next.

For the Washington Mystics who have a 17-11 record, each practice is essential to the team who are looking to improve on different parts of the game. Some days the ladies focus on the defensive side of the court, other days communication and overall the sessions are great for team bonding.

In the latest practice session held on 7/26, General Manager and Head Coach Mike Thibault and the team turned up the intensity as the ladies will go up against two of the WNBA’s best in Dallas and Seattle. The ultimate hope now for the group is to make it to the 2022 WNBA Playoffs.

After their intense practice session, the ladies will be off to Dallas to take on the Wings prior to returning to Washington D.C. to host the Seattle Storm. The tip between the Mystics and the Wings is set for 8:00 p.m. with the game to be aired on the CBS Sports network.
