The Washington Mystics (11-9) were unable to gain a victory on the road against the Seattle Storm (11-6) falling by score of 85-71.

1495 Sports is proud to bring the following Washington Mystics Post Game Press Conference from 6/23/2022. This was after the team’s 85-71 loss to the Seattle Storm in WNBA action. Video features thoughts from General Manager and Head Coach Mike Thibault, Alysha Clark and Elena Delle Donne:

Once again acting as leaders in the assist department was Natasha Cloud who had a team-high eight assists. Cloud now has recorded at least five plus assist in a franchise record 22 consecutive games. This serves as the active longest streak in the WNBA, while also standing alone for the third-longest streak in the WNBA history.

There was a milestone moment for Alysha Clark who was able to eclipse 2,000 career points in her 286-career game, as she was able to have 11 points on 5-for- shooting, while also grabbing eight rebounds.

Shakira Austin continues to shine in her rookie season, grabbing a team-high nine rebounds. Austin has been able to have five-plus rebounds in nine consecutive games and that serves as the longest active streak by any rookie in the WNBA.

The team’s next stop on this road trip will be in Las Vegas, as the ladies will take on the Aces on Saturday, June 25 with the tip scheduled for 10:00 p.m.
