Washington Mystics win close one against Indiana, 87-75

The Washington Mystics were able to defeat the Indiana Fever by a final of 87-75 in a close one on the road in WNBA action on Tuesday.

Washington now holds a 15-2 record against Indiana dating back to the start of the 2017 WNBA season.   

Leading the way for the team was Natasha Cloud who had 16 points, while also dishing out nine assists. Cloud has been an assist machine, as she has now recorded at least five plus assists in a franchise record 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Ariel Atkins had a great night, with her season-high 28 points (9-16 FC, 4-6 3 PT) and has now scored in double figures in five consecutive games and in nine total games this season. Rounding out the leaders on the team was Elizabeth Williams who had a season-high 15 rebounds, while also having 10 points for her first double-double of the season.

The Washington Mystics will return to the friendly confines of the Entertainment and Sports Arena on June 3, to host the New York Liberty. The game between the two is set to tip at 7:00 p.m.
