Kyle Neptune, Fordham University head men’s basketball coach, announced that he is stepping down effective immediately to become head men’s basketball coach at Villanova University. Neptune led the Rams to a 16-16 overall record in 2021-2022, 8-10 in the Atlantic 10. Prior to arriving at Fordham, Neptune served as an assistant coach on Jay Wright’s staff at Villanova for eight years.

Fordham’s athletic director, Ed Kull, has named associate head coach Keith Urgo as interim head coach, and will begin a national search for Neptune’s replacement immediately.
