The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team will close the regular season on Monday when it hosts Charleston. The game was originally scheduled to be played on January 5 but was postponed due to COVID protocols within the Charleston program.
Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase at HofstraTickets.com, by calling (516) HOF-TIXX, or by visiting the Hofstra Athletic Ticket Office in the lobby of the Mack Sports Complex during normal business hours. On game day the ticket office will open one hour prior to tip-off.

Hofstra picked up its 20th win of the season on Saturday with an 82-67 victory over William & Mary. Senior Omar Silverio led Hofstra with 20 points, while graduate student Jalen Ray chipped in with 19. Junior Aaron Estrada had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Hofstra’s 20-win season is the 24th all-time in program history and the 15th at the NCAA Division I level (since 1966-67).
Charleston is 16-13 overall and 8-9 in Colonial Athletic Association play following a narrow 80-79 loss at Drexel on Saturday. Dimitrius Underwood had 23 points, seven rebounds, and six assists for the Cougars.
Monday is the 16th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Charleston with the Pride leading the way, 8-7. The series began when the Cougars joined the CAA in 2013-14. The teams did not meet last season. Hofstra won this season’s earlier meeting, 76-73, in Charleston back on January 27 as Estrada poured in 30 points in the victory.
