Leilani Correa has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the fourth time this season, the league announced on Monday.
Correa averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in a 2-0 week for the Red Storm. She posted a game-high 21 points and five assists in Wednesday’s win at Butler before continuing her stellar week with 11 points and six rebounds during the Johnnies victory against Georgetown.
On the season, Correa is third in the conference in scoring with 18.1 points per game. She also places sixth in the league with 35.4 minutes per contest. In BIG EAST play alone, Correa ranks fourth in scoring with 17.9 points and seventh in minutes with 35.1.
The junior earned distinction from the league following a week where teammate Kadaja Bailey was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. The duo has helped the Johnnies win four of their last five games.
