The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team will play the second of three straight home games on Saturday afternoon when it hosts James Madison as part of Hofstra’s Winter Homecoming Weekend.

Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase at HofstraTickets.com, by calling (516) HOF-TIXX, or by visiting the Hofstra Athletic Ticket Office in the lobby of the Mack Sports Complex during normal business hours. On game day the ticket office will open one hour prior to tip-off.

There will be free t-shirts for the first 1,000 Hofstra students and fans at the game and all Hofstra staff will receive four free tickets and a concession voucher for a family pack.

The game will air on FloHoops and WRHU (88.7 FM) will have an audio-only broadcast on the Hofstra Athletics Web Channel. Links to both broadcasts, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men’s basketball schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra is 13-9 overall and 5-4 in Colonial Athletic Association play following a 78-68 defeat to Towson on Thursday. Junior Aaron Estrada led the Pride with 22 points and seven assists in the game, while graduate student Jalen Ray added 17 points, including five three-pointers.

James Madison is 13-7 and 4-5 in conference action after earning a 76-71 win at Northeastern. Vado Morse led the Dukes with 25 points.

Hofstra leads the all-time series with James Madison, 23-15, with all the meetings occurring since the programs became conference rivals in 2001-02. In the first meeting this year, Hofstra earned an 87-80 victory. The Dukes won a pair of narrow contests a season ago, but prior to that the Pride had won three straight and seven of the previous eight meetings.
