Fordham Men’s Basketball Hosts Richmond on Tuesday

The Fordham University Rams continue the 2021-2022 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham’s 119th varsity season, by hosting the University of Richmond Spiders in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Tuesday, January 18, at 8:00 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on SNY and streamed live on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (play-by-play) and Andrew Posadas (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and www.wfuvsports.org with Nick DeLuca (play-by-play) and Ryan Gregware (color) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 9-6 overall record, 2-1 in the Atlantic 10, after a 63-45 conference loss at Saint Louis on Saturday afternoon, while Richmond enters the game with a 10-7 overall record, 1-3 in the conference, after an 87-84 Atlantic 10 loss at Davidson on Friday night.

Tuesday night’s contest will be the 31st meeting between Fordham and Richmond on the hardwood. The Spiders lead the all-time series, which started in 1985, 22-8, and have won the past three match-ups, including a 59-53 win in the last meeting on February 8, 2020 in the Rose Hill Gym as Jacob Gilyard scored a game-high 22 points.
