1495 Sports is proud to bring the following Washington Mystics Post Game Press Conference from 8/28. This was after the team’s Mystics 76 –75 victory over the Dallas Wings. Video includes thoughts from Mike Thibault, Natasha Cloud, Leilani Mitchell and Erica McCall

The Washington Mystics were hoping for a rebound performance against the Dallas Wings and were able to get just that in the team’s 76-75 victory on Saturday night.

Washington who had trailed by 16 at the half, was able to outscore the Wings by 17 to earn the victory. Helping to lead the way in the team’s victory was Natasha Cloud who recorded a season-high 21 points to go along with five assists.

Cloud had an outstanding night on the court going 4-of-8 from the three-point arc and had a season high three-point makes.

Another key to the team’s victory was the fact that the bench was able to tally 28 points, which is the second consecutive game the bench was able to total 25 or more points. If the Mystics are going to vie for a spot in the WNBA playoffs, they are going to need for the entire team to step up and score.

The Mystics hold a 10-15 mark and have got to fight if they want a spot in the WNBA Playoffs.

In the milestone moment of the night Leilani Mitchell was able to record her 500th career three-point make, with this feat Mitchell is one of 14 players to accomplish this feat.

The team will have some time to rest and prepare for their next game against the Connecticut Sun, which will be happening on August 31 with the tip off set for 7:00 p.m.
