Washington Mystics fall to Dallas Wings, 85-74

1495 Sports is proud to bring the following Post Game Press Conference, featuring thoughts from Mystics Head Coach Mike Thibault along with stars Tina Charles, Ariel Atkins and Shavonte Zellous

The Washington Mystics (7-8) tough stretch continued, as the team saw an 85-74 loss to the Dallas Wings in WNBA action on Saturday.

Washington was able to close out a three-game road trip that stretched from Seattle to Los Angeles and finally in Texas. The Mystics have been fighting a ton this season, as they have been without stars Elena Delle Donne, Natasha Cloud and Myisha Hines-Allen.

They have had a ton of players step up though and showed a ton of heart and grit throughout the road stretch.

Leading the way on the offensive side for the Mystics was Tina Charles who had 27 points and 10 rebounds. Leilani Mitchell had 14 points and seven assists as another bright spot for Washington.

The Mystics will get to return to the friendly confines of the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington D.C. to play host to the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, June 29. The tip off between these two teams is set for 7:00 p.m.
