The Washington Spirit have released their official 2021 Regular Season Schedule today. The Spirit will play on the road on Sunday, May 16 against the Orlando Pride. They will return home to play the Houston Dash on Wednesday, May 26.
The Spirit’s ninth NWSL season will feature 10 teams, including expansion team Racing Louisville FC and newly rebranded NJ/NY Gotham FC, formerly Sky Blue FC. Each team will play 12 home and 12 away games. The Spirit will play Chicago, Houston, North Carolina, OL Reign, Orlando and Racing Louisville three times and Kansas City, Gotham FC and Portland twice.
The Spirit will play home games this season between Segra Field in Leesburg, VA and Audi Field in Washington, D.C. Five games will be played at Segra and seven will be played at Audi Field.
