The Washington Spirit will return to Audio Field as they will take on Racing Louisville FC, as both teams look to earn their first win in the NWSL Challenge Cup Tournament. In their last match the Spirit fell in a close match to the North Carolina Courage, but saw an encouraging debut from Trinity Rodman. Racing Louisville will be on the road for the first time in club history.
Fans who will be watching the game can expect for Kumi Yokoyama to make another strong showing for the Spirit, who was able to record her first goal of the 2021 season in the match against Carolina. As for Racing Louisville keep an eye out for Savannah McCaskill who looks to make a huge impact with the club.
Also playing well for the Spirit in the match against the Carolina Courage was Tori Huster, Ashley Sanchez, Paige Nelsen. As for Racing Louisville Brooke Hendrix and Yuki Nagasato also played well for the team in their last match against the Orlando Pride.
