The Washington Spirit and Elite Wellness are proud to announce a partnership agreement for the 2021 season. Elite Wellness is a women-owned small business in Loudoun County.
Spirit Head Coach Richie Burke had this to say about the partnership: “Our players are really pleased with this new partnership and I can’t wait to see the benefits from the post-game recovery processes offered by Elite Wellness. Michael, our High-Performance Director will be the lead in this partnership and he is excited that we have these types of services so close at hand to our players’ apartments. This is a great opportunity to forge a really strong relationship with some top professional people at Elite Wellness, who I believe will be of the mind that serving our players at the highest standards will be a huge priority.”
As part of the partnership, Elite Wellness will serve as the performance and recovery partner. At Elite Wellness, the Spirit will have access to a sauna, cryotherapy, and NormaTec recovery gear to help get the team back on the field quicker and stronger.
McKenna Smet, owner of Elite Wellness, had this to say about the partnership: “Elite Wellness is extremely excited to announce our partnership with the Washington Spirit. We are looking forward to sharing our expert knowledge and passion for health with the best female athletes in the DC area.”
