
The Fordham University Football team improved their record to 1-1, thanks to a huge 40-8 victory over Colgate in College Football action this weekend.
The team’s defense stood tall forcing Colgate to turn the ball over in what was a thriller at Jack Coffey Field in the Bronx.
Leading the way on the offensive side of the ball for the Rams was Tim DeMorat, who completed 22 of 31 passed for 274 yards and two touchdowns. Senior Trey Sneed ran 23 times for 93 yards and had two touchdowns.
One of the leaders on the defensive side of the ball was Ryan Greehagen who had 16 tackles and a pass breakup, while Stephen William II was able to pick a pair of passes and recovered a fumble.
Jeremy Imperati and Jackson Barletta were both able to have their first career interceptions during the game.
Fordham will continue Patriot League action against Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. on Saturday, April 10th.
