Bridgeport Sound Tigers fall to Providence 4-1

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers fell to the Providence Bruins by a final of 4-1 in AHL action on Thursday.

Providence was led by Oskar Steen who was able to score twice, while Robert Lantosi and Karson Kuhlman added goals that lifted the team to the victory.

Bridgeport was able to find the back of the cage thanks to Dmytro Timashov was able to net one in the final minutes of the game.

The Sound Tigers struggled all around, as the team was 1-for-7 on the power play. In the cage for Bridgeport C.J. Motte made 23 saves in 40 minutes of work.

Bridgeport will return to Webster Bank Arena on Saturday as they will take on the Hartford Wolf Pack in a game that is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
