Two of the top teams in the Colonial Athletic Association will meet this week when Hofstra travels to James Madison for a pair of league games.
The games will be on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Atlantic Union Bank Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Hofstra is now 12-7 and 8-4 in conference action following a weekend split with Drexel. The Pride now leads the league in both overall wins and conference victories. Senior Jalen Ray, who had a career-high 30 points in Saturday’s game against the Dragons, leads Hofstra with 17.9 points per game. Senior Tareq Coburn, who had a team-high 17 points in Sunday’s win, is second on the team with 15.2 points per outing. Junior Isaac Kante, who tallied 16 points and 16 rebounds on Sunday, is averaging 13.6 points and 10.2 rebounds. Sophomore Caleb Burgess leads the team with 5.5 assists per contest.
James Madison is 11-5 overall and 6-1 in conference play. Matt Lewis is tops on the Dukes with 20.6 points and 3.6 assists per game, while second with 4.8 rebounds per game. Justin Amadi leads JMU with 5.3 rebounds per game and chips in with 8.3 points per game.
Saturday’s game marks the 36th in the series between Hofstra and James Madison with the Pride leading the series, 22-13. Hofstra has won seven straight games in the series.
