The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team will bring a five-game win streak back to campus when the Pride hosts Drexel for a two-game set this weekend.
Tip-off on both days from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is set for 2 p.m.

Hofstra is 11-6 overall and 7-3 in Colonial Athletic Association play following last weekend’s road sweep of UNCW. The Pride is led in scoring by senior Jalen Ray with 17.9 points per game. Senior Tareq Coburn, who missed last weekend’s games, is second with 15.5 points per outing. Junior Isaac Kante nearly averages a double-double for the Pride with 13.3 points and 9.9 caroms per contest. Sophomore Caleb Burgess is averaging a team-high 5.2 assists per game.
Drexel will bring a 7-6 overall record and a CAA mark of 2-4 into the weekend. The Dragons dropped a road game to James Madison on Sunday in their last contest. Camren Wynter leads Drexel with 17.9 points per game and 5.5 assists per outing. James Butler ranks second on the squad with 13.8 points per game and leads the Dragons with 9.4 rebounds per game.
Hofstra is 46-46 all-time against Drexel in a series that began during the 1958-59 campaign. Hofstra won the first-ever meeting, 70-64, in the Middle Atlantic Championships. Heading into this weekend, the Hofstra/Drexel series ranks as the Pride’s second-most played opponent all-time as the two schools have met 92 times. Hofstra has only faced one team more as the Pride has met Delaware 96 times. Hofstra has won eight straight and 12 of the last 13 games in the series with the Dragons.
