News and Notes from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

So far some of the stars from the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins have been able to shine during the Pittsburgh Training Camp.

One player hoping to continue to shine for the Penguins is Jake Guentzel, who has established himself as one of the elite goal scorers in the league. Guentzel who had shoulder surgery as the team was about to enter the Toronto bubble for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Jake was able to score three points in the Pens first three postseason games, before he and the club were eliminated in the fourth contest. Thus far it seems like Guentzel has been able to regain his swagger and confidence as he has been skating alongside Sidney Crosby and Evan Rodrigues. Connecting with the two on some impressive plays.

Other notables from Day Two from the Camp is newly acquired forward Colton Sceviour was able to join the club on Tuesday and was skating on a line with Teddy Blueger and Chris Tanev.

Anthony Angello and Pierre-Oliver Joseph are going to be two players who are expected to continue their fine play in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
