The BIG EAST Conference office announced the remainder of its Women’s Basketball television schedule, which features 17 national broadcasts, on Tuesday afternoon.
The Johnnies are set to appear on television six times, including four national broadcasts across FS1 and FS2. The Red Storm’s other two television games will appear on SNY as the Johnnies take on charter BIG EAST foe UConn in Storrs, Conn. on Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m., before welcoming the Huskies to Carnesecca Arena on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.
St. John’s will make its first national television appearance on Jan. 13 at reigning BIG EAST Champion DePaul on FS2 in a 7 p.m. tip. The Red Storm will remain the focus on Jan. 17 when it hosts Marquette at 2 p.m. on FS1.
Just over a week later, the Johnnies will return to the national spotlight on Jan. 25 with a trip to Villanova for a Monday meeting with the Wildcats on FS1. The Red Storm will wrap up its slate of nationally televised regular season games on FS2 as St. John’s welcomes the Blue Demons to Queens on Feb. 10. The tip-off times for these games will be announced at a later date.
The remainder of the Red Storm’s conference games not designated for television will stream live on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi, which is available on FloSports.
The BIG EAST Conference previously announced a one-year deal with leading sports streaming service, FloSports, to become the digital home of BIG EAST women’s basketball. The agreement provides a platform for all Women’s Basketball games that stream on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) presented by SoFi. FloSports will also carry BIG EAST original content such as “Fast Break,” the Conference’s weekly Women’s Basketball features show.
FOX Sports is also the home for out-of-market games on SNY. Out-of-market fans are able to stream SNY games at no additional cost to authenticated subscribers who have FOX as part of their television package. Users will need to sign in with their TV provider credentials at https://www.foxsports.com/ or in the FOX Sports app. For in-market fans, all games and pre/post-game coverage on SNY are accessible live for authenticated SNY subscribers in the SNY broadcast footprint via SNY.tv and the NBC Sports app.
