The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team will look to extend its win streak to three games on Saturday when it travels to St. Bonaventure for a meeting with the Atlantic 10 member Bonnies.
Tip-off from the Reilly Center is slated for 2 p.m.

Hofstra is 3-2 this season after earning a 96-88 win over Monmouth on Tuesday evening. Seniors Jalen Ray and Tareq Coburn led the way for the Pride with 29 and 28 points, respectively. For Ray, it was a new career-high, while Coburn tied his career-high in scoring. The duo is Hofstra’s top scorers this season as Coburn is averaging 20.6 points and Ray is second with 16.4 points per outing.
St. Bonaventure, which went 19-12 a season ago, has played just one game so far in 2020-21 as they defeated Akron on the road, 81-74, on Tuesday. Osun Osunniyi had 25 points and eight rebounds for the Bonnies, while Dominick Welch added 18 and Kyle Lofton chipped in with 17.
The teams have met six times previously with St. Bonaventure holding a 5-1 lead in the series. The Pride’s lone win in the series came during the 2015-16 season when they earned an 89-83 win on the road. Hofstra and St. Bonaventure have met on the hardwood in four of the past six years, including this year’s meeting.
