The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team, coming off a win over Stony Brook in The Long Island Rivalry, will begin a three-game road swing with a trip to Monmouth on Tuesday.
Tip-off from West Long Branch, New Jersey, is slated for 7 p.m.

Hofstra is 2-2 on the season following the 72-67 win over the Seawolves this past Wednesday. Tareq Coburn leads the Pride with 18.8 points per outing, while Isaac Kante is averaging a double-double with 13.8 points to go along with 10.5 rebounds per game. Hofstra has won two of its last three games.
This game will be the season opener for the Hawks. Monmouth went 18-13 a season. The Pride and the Hawks met last November with Hofstra earning a 94-74 victory over Monmouth.
Hofstra is 4-6 all-time against Monmouth in a series that began during the 1983-84 season. The Pride has won three straight in the series.
