New York City FC Earns 4-0 victory over FC Cincinnati

VIDEO: New York City FC stars Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Anton Tinnerholm share these thoughts after the clubs 4-0 victory over FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer action on 9/26

New York City FC was able to get back on a winning track in a 4-0 decision over FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer action on Saturday. The Boys in Blue were able to record two quick goals from Alexandru Mitriță and never looked back in what was a big match at Red Bulls Arena.

Also finding the back of the cage to round out the goal scorers was Anton Tinnerholm and Jesus Medina. NYCFC continues to play a great brand of soccer, being extremely aggressive and attacking the cage. They seem to have their soccer legs under them now, and the style of play is much improved since their participation in the MLS is Back Tournament.

Making some stellar saves in cage for New York City FC was keeper Sean Johnson, and the defense continues to make some huge stops in shutting down opposing teams offensive opportunities as well.

The Boys in Blue are currently Fifth in the Major League Soccer standings, and are hoping to continue their climb up the rankings. Each win they are able to tally is huge to them and the momentum that they have as the rest of the season progresses.

New York City FC are back in action next Saturday as they will take to the road for a match against Inter Miami that is set for 8:00 p.m.
