The Baltimore Orioles are gearing up for the 2020 season and are making several big moves to make sure their rotation, as well as the rest of the roster will be exactly what they are hoping it will be.
Some of the moves the franchise have made includes selecting the contract of Wade LeBlanc and Tommy Milone, as these veteran lefties will be seeing time on the hill for the team. There was also the addition of Dean Kremer their Number 9 prospect to their 60 -man player pool.
Kremer is one of many who maybe seeing time in the the Orioles alternate training site, which from what is being reported is located in Prince George Stadium in Bowie, Md where all of the prospects will have a tremendous opportunity to cut their teeth prior to making it to Camden Yards.
Thus far the prospects that will be training include No 1 prospect Adley Rutschman, No. 8 prospect Michael Baumann, No 11 prospect Keegan Akin along with others.
According to reports the Orioles rotation is looking extremely strong, as it seems that manager Brandon Hyde has some really tough decisions to make with who he will start for Opening day.
It is looking like starters Alex Cobb and LeBlanc along with righty Asher Wojciechowsky and Milone are all candidates to shine on the hill for Baltimore this season.
There is so much excitement surrounding the Baltimore Orioles and their starting rotation so it’ll be interesting to see what the club does this season.
There will be a split squad game with the Washington Nationals happening on July 19, prior to the team traveling to Fenway Park to take on their American League Rival the Boston Red Sox in their home opener on the 24th.
