The landscape and roster of the New York Liberty continues to take shape and change with some really big additions to 2020. Some of the biggest changes are that the team has waived veteran guard Tayler Hill. Additionally, forward Stephanie Talbot will remain overseas for the 2020 season.
New York acquired Hill in the three-team trade with the Dallas Wings and Washington Mystics for Tina Charles. Hill, a seven-year WNBA veteran, most recently played for Dallas after spending five full seasons with Washington.
The Liberty also announced today that Stephanie Talbot will remain overseas for the 2020 season. Talbot, a 6-2 forward, was acquired via trade on draft night from the Minnesota Lynx in exchange for New York’s 26th overall selection, Erica Ogwumike.
