The Hofstra men’s basketball team has a huge Colonial Athletic Association game on Saturday as the Pride will head to William & Mary to take on the Tribe in a battle of two of the top teams in the league standings.
Hofstra (16-7, 7-3 CAA) sits one game behind first place William & Mary (16-7, 8-2 CAA) in the conference standings as the race heats up in February. In another interesting Saturday showdown, Charleston (13-9, 7-3 CAA) visits Towson (13-9, 7-3 CAA) in the other marquee match-up of the day.

Hofstra is coming off a dominating 86-63 win over Elon on Thursday as senior Eli Pemberton had 26 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, while senior Desure Buie posted 18 points and 11 assists. The win was Hofstra’s eighth road victory of the season, tying the Pride for the nation’s lead in that category.
William & Mary got a basket from Nathan Knight in the final seconds to defeat Northeastern, 59-58, on Thursday. Knight finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Quinn Blair added 11 points.
