The New York Riptide continue to improve but ultimately fell to the Philadelphia Wings by a final of 15- 12 in National Lacrosse League action at Nassau Coliseum.
New York was led on the offense by Tyson Gibson who recorded a hat trick. It was a night of first for the Riptide as Cody Radziewicz, John Wagner, Jake Fox were all able to record their first career goals for the team.
It was a back and forth battle between these two Eastern Division rivals, in the end the Philadelphia offense was too much and grinded away at New York until they were able to get the victory. The Riptide battled the whole night to tie up the game and gain the lead, showing some great grit.
New York will now have some time to recuperate and time to bond as a team before their next home game against the Georgia Swarm on January 18.
