Fans of Mixed Martial Arts are going to be in for a day of exciting fights on December 31 as the Pro Fight League makes its long awaited return to Madison Square Garden. It be a night of action packed fights in the Hulu Theatre as each fighter as a shot to earn One Million Dollars, but there is also history to be made as the PFL will have the first ever Women’s Lightweight Championship in Kayla Harrison vs Larissa Pacheo.

For Harrison she is the first US Athlete to win Olympic gold in Judo, and has serious crossover appeal as the Middletown, Ohio native is looking to make an impact in Movies and Commercials and more thanks to the exposure she is getting with the PFL. She is going up against a tough opponent in Pacheo, who hails from Marituba, Brazil, started to train for MMA at the age of 15.

The PFL is structured differently than most other MMA companies, as they will allow for fighters to have control of their own destiny. These amazing athletes have competed in a regular season, playoffs and championship. The Championship Round in the Second Season of the PFL will be held in New York City and act as a great way to end 2019.  Thus far the PFL has made a major impact in the combat sports world as they have been able to generate 300 million fans worldwide and 40 million in the United States.

Some of the other great fights that fans can keep an eye out for is the Featherweight Championship bout between Lance Palmer and Alex Gilpin. These two great warriors have a prior history against the other, as this will be the third meeting in the PFL.

The Heavyweight Championship bout between Jared Roshold and Ali Ishov should be one of the hardest hitting contest to take place at Madison Square Garden. There will also be a New Fighter Showcase as Brendan Loughnane will take on David Valente.
