Cyclones ‘Cats Game 1 Postponed due to Weather

The Brooklyn Cyclones (32-27) were certainly glad to return to MCU Park to take on the Tri-City Valley Cats (25-34)  in a Three Game Series. The team currently holds a 17-13 record, outscoring opponents 123-109, the Cyclones hold a .241 batting average as a team, while opponents are batting just .203.

On Star Wars night it seemed as if the Force and some Weather was not with them as the game was suspended in the Top of the Sixth Inning. It was around the Fifth Inning that a fog drifted into the ballpark thickening up and halting what was an instant classic between the two teams.

Prior to the start of the game tonight the Cyclones had a tough stretch losing four straight games, tying their longest streak of the season. In that stretch the Cyclones have been outscored 36-17 over the span. In the last series against the Vermont Lake Monsters the team suffered a three-game sweep. Brooklyn is 7-36 (.194) with RISP over the last four games. Brooklyn holds a 1-7 record in the last eight road games

Here are some News and Notes from the Cyclones Public Relations Department as the Team Celebrated Star Wars Night on August 17:
