New York City FC will be going on the road to take on the Chicago Fire on June 30 in a match scheduled for 8:00 p.m and be held at Toyota Park.
It will be the second match for newly appointed Head Coach Dominic Torrent, who made his successful debut with the club at the helm with a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC on June 24.
When Chicago and NYCFC last met in July the boys in blue were able to earn a 2-1 victory, as David Villa and Frederic Brillant scored three minutes apart that snapped the Chicago Fire’s league unbeaten streak at 11 matches. That match was played at Yankee Stadium.
Villa was the lone goal scorer for NYCFC, when the two teams met in September as the club earned a 1-1 draw at Toyota Park.
Thus far in 2018 New York City FC has a 2-3-3 record on the road, so it will be interesting to see how the team will respond to this road game with a new head coach at the helm.
Scoring two goals in the last match against Toronto FC at the Stadium for the club was Jo Inge Berget, who spoke about a wide variety of topics in an interview conducted on June 26, fans can check that out by watching the video seen below:

New York City FC will next be at Yankee Stadium, where they hold an amazing 7-0-1 record in the Second Edition of the Hudson River Derby hosting the New York Red Bulls. Fans had better act quickly for tickets for the match, as they are moving quickly.
