New York did a terrific job with keeping San Francisco off the board, while trying to get a goal in the First Half of play. It was in the Second Half that the hard work and effort of the team really showed.

Emmanuel Ledesma earned the  Emirates Man of the Match honors award after the match today, for his aggressive play in the midfield, which helped to create many opportunities for the team.

Szetela and Maurer became the third and fourth players with 100 games for the club in the Modern Era, joining teammates, Ayoze and Carlos Mendes, who reached the milestone last season.
