Moving to New York and adjusting to a new style of soccer and a new team is not the easiest thing to do. The newest Designated Player for New York City FC Maxi Moralez is not only making that adjustment, but also decided to step-up in participating in a ‘City in the Community’ event in East Harlem on February 28.
The ‘City in the Community’ program helps students receive free soccer programming during recess and afterschool. Even more amazing was the school where the site was P.S. 83 / P.S. 182 (BBMS) is for students who are bilingual.
Maxi Moralez spoke with the New York Media prior to participating in the ‘City in the Community’ event and fans can check out the video of his thoughts on joining the club and more below:
Fans can also check out this video which shows a bit of Maxi Moralez participating in a small-sided soccer game with the kids of P.S. 83 / P.S. 182 (BBMS)
