PHOTO GALLERY and POSTGAME VIDEO: NY Riveters v Connecticut Whale on 12/13

1495 Sports is proud to bring the following photo gallery and Postgame Press Conference Video after the New York Riveters tough 4-3 shootout loss to the Connecticut Whale in NWHL action on 11/13 at the Aviator Sports Complex Center.

Brey Ketchum scored two goals for New York to lead the offense, while Jenny Scrivens made 44 saves in the cage. Morgan Fritz-Ward tallied the third goal of the game for the Riveters, and Janine Weber recorded two assists.

It was in the Third Quarter that the Whale struck, as Shiann Darkangelo scored twice, including the game-tying tally with nine seconds left in the game. Kelli Stack scored the only goal in the shootout frame as Connecticut has an incredible winning streak going thus far in the NWHL season.

New York will now have the opportunity to go to Tokyo on Monday for a stretch of four games in five days against top-level Japanese talent.

The Riveters will be back in Brooklyn on January 3, 2016, when they host the Connecticut Whale in a game scheduled for 7:00 pm

NOTE: Througout the game the New York Riveters raised toys, funds and awareness for Toys for Tots during the game. Fans were encouraged to bring toys to the game, while 50-50 raffle tickets were sold and announcments made for the efforts being made to bring a smile to the face of children for the Holiday Season.
