Cyclones drop Tough Decision at Home to State College

The Brooklyn Cyclones dropped a tough 7-6 loss to the State College Spikes in New York-Penn League action on 8/12 at MCU Park.

Starter Tyler Badamo (2-6) in returning from an injury, went 5.1 innings, during allowing six runs, all earned, one home run, and stitting down six batters.

Leading the way for the Brooklyn offense was Jose Garcia, who had a multiple-hit night at the dish to go along with an RBI.

Also recording hits in the game for the Cyclones were Vinny Siena, Jeff Diehl, Enmanuel Zabala, Zach Mathieu and Alfredo Reyes.

Brooklyn will look to rebound in game two of this three-game set as  Kevin Canelon (4-3) will take the mound for the Cyclones with first pitch set for 7:00 pm.
