1495 Sports is proud to bring this one-on-one interview with New York Cosmos Midfielder Wálter Restrepo after a training session that was held on 3/6/15.
Restrepo joined the club on January 2015, after being a part of the San Antonio Scorpions 2014 North American Soccer League Championship Run. The Midfielder was a part of the NASL Best XI twice, while also being a part of the NASL Team of the Week honors four times in 2014 and was also named NALS Player of the Week once.
Prior to his time with the Scorpions, Restrepo had an outstanding 2012 campaign for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, leading the league with eight assists and adding six goals en route to an NASL Best XI selection.
Restrepo has already had some great opportunities to learn the Cosmos style of play, having the opportunity to see time in all three season preseason friendlies thus far.
The Cosmos will now have an opportunity to travel to El Salvador for a friendly against C.D. FAS at Estadio Cuscatlán on March 14.
