The Fordham University Men’s Basketball team (8-16, 3-10 Atlantic 10 Conference) winners of two games on the road, will look to continue their strong play when they visit Davidson (18-6, 9-4 Atlantic 10 Conference) on Saturday, February 21 for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
Leading the way the Rams’ 80-68 conference win at George Mason was Junior guard Mandell Thomas, who recorded his second straight 20-point game by matching his career-high with 25 points.
Eric Paschall added 21 points and Christian Sengfelder chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds to round out the scoring for Fordham.

THE DAVIDSON SERIES:
Saturday night’s contest will be the second meet- ing between Fordham and Davidson on the hardwood… The Wildcats took the first meeting, 74-60, on December 29, 1996 at the Cincinnati Invitational… Davidson is in its first year as a member of the Atlantic 10… Fordham is 3-7 all-time in the state of North Carolina (2-1 at the Carousel Classic in Charlotte, 1-1 at the CoSIDA Classic in Raleigh, 0-3 at Charlotte, 0-2 at North Carolina).
The Fordham Rams have won three of four games for the first time since 2008 and have won three of four games by double digits for the first time since 2006.
OFFENSE HEATING UP:
Over the past six games, the Fordham offense has heated up, scoring over 70 points in five of the contests and averaging 75.3 ppg over that stretch.
RAMS AMONG ATLANTIC 10 LEADERS:
Through games of February 19, the Fordham Rams have the Atlantic 10’s third leading scorer, and top freshman scorer, in freshman guard Eric Paschall (17.5 ppg) while Mandell Thomas is second in the conference in steals (2.2/game). The Rams also have the fifth leading rebounder in junior forward
(8.8 rpg) while Rhoomes is also seventh in the conference in blocked shots, averaging 1.3/game, and Thomas is seventh in assists with a 3.4 apg average.
