Hofstra has had a ton of success on the road this season and will look to continue that trend against the Tigers. The Pride is currently tied for the nation’s lead in road victories (9) with Virginia, Gonzaga, Iona and Maryland-Eastern Shore (as of 2/16).
There are just two weeks left in the regular season and Hofstra (17-10, 8-6 CAA) will look move even further up the conference standings. The Pride is currently tied with Drexel in fifth place in the conference standings, but only two games separates first from sixth in the CAA. William & Mary and UNCW lead the way at 10-4, while Northeastern and James Madison are next at 9-5.
Hofstra had an outstanding showing in its last game, an 81-57 rout of Drexel on Sunday evening. Senior center Moussa Kone had a career-best 23 points on 10-10 shooting from the field, while junior forward Malik Nichols tied his career-high with 15 points and added eight rebounds.
