Sunday afternoon’s contest will be the 49th meeting between Fordham and Saint Joseph’s on the hardwood with the Hawks leading the all-time series, which started in the 1919-20 season, 32-16. Saint Joseph’s has won the past ten meetings, including a 66-55 win on January 14 in Hagen Arena as Chris Wilson netted 23 points for the Hawks while Eric Paschall had 16 for the Rams.

The game will be part of Fordham Men’s Basketball Alumni Day as the Rams welcome back the 1974-1975 team as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1974 ECAC Holiday Festival title. The Rams defeated Manhattan, Saint Joseph’s and fifth-ranked Southern California to take home the title. Members of the team along with head coach Hal Wissel will be honored at halftime, along with legendary sports announcer Bob Wolff, who broadcast the games.
