AT&T* announced on Thursday a grand opening celebration for a new store design focused on the customer’s mobile lifestyle in the Westfield Garden State Plaza. Located on the first floor of the mall, the store is more than 6,500 square feet in size and is the first New Jersey store with the innovative layout and among the largest for AT&T in the Northeast.
As part of the grand opening celebration, shoppers are invited to meet New York Yankees Manager Joe Girardi, who will be signing AT&T autograph cards from 12:30p.m. – 2:00p.m. on Saturday January 31, while Z100 radio entertains customers. No personal memorabilia will be signed. Girardi is also expected to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12noon before his public in-store appearance.
“We’re thrilled New York Yankees Manager Joe Girardi will be part of our grand opening celebration for the first store in the state that’s designed with our customers’ mobile lifestyle in mind,” said Thomas DeVito, Vice President and General Manager, New York/New Jersey, AT&T. “Our goal is to provide a superior shopping experience that ensures every store interaction is a home run for our customers.”
