The Barclays Center has been the hosts for many of the hottest sporting events in New York. On December 22 it will be no different as New York College Men’s Basketball Rivals Fordham University takes on Manhattan College as a part of the  Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Festival presented by Konica Minolta.

Monday night’s contest will be the 107th meeting between Fordham and Manhattan on the hardwood but it will be just the second time the two schools will play outside the Bronx (the 2001 game was played at Madison Square Garden). The Jaspers lead the all-time series, which started in 1911-12, 55-51. The 106 games played against Manhattan are the most games played against any one opponent for Fordham while the 51 wins over the Jaspers are the most victories over any team for Fordham. The Rams won last year’s meeting, 79-75, in the Draddy Gym as Branden Frazier  scored 21 points and Mandell Thomas added 17 and ten rebounds.
