Tough loss at Home for Fordham Men’s Basketball against University of Maryland Eastern Shore

The Fordham Men’s Basketball team (1-4) suffered their second tough loss at Rose Hill Gym a 72-66 decision to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (2-6) in Non-Conference College Hoops action on Saturday.

Fordham spent most of the time and energy trying to chip away at the Hawks lead that there was not enough fuel in the tank for the comeback victory.

With three freshman at the court at several times during the game, it seems as if the Rams’ Head Coach Tom Pecora is going to have to balance out how to get his younger guys experience, while also leading the team to victories.

There were some bright spots in the game as Freshman Guard Eric Paschall (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) showed poise and presence, leading the way with 25 points. Mandell Thomas (Rochester, N.Y.) added 13 points, while Antwoine Anderson (Rochester, N.Y.) also had a good game tallying 10 points, dishing out five assists and stealing the ball four times.

Leading the way for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore was Michael Myers who finished the game with 20 points.
