The Fordham University football squad learned of its first round NCAA FCS championship opponent today and for the second straight year, the Rams will host Sacred Heart University on Saturday, November 29, on Jack Coffey Field at noon. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
Fordham, winners of the Patriot League, closed out the regular season with a 10-2 mark while Sacred Heart, Northeast Conference champions, went 9-2 during the regular season. The winner will face #1 overall seed, the University of New Hampshire, on Saturday, December 6, in Durham, New Hampshire.
The matchup is a repeat of the 2013 NCAA FCS first round pairing when the Rams defeated the Pioneers, 37-27, on Jack Coffey Field in the first ever meeting between the two schools.
The NCAA FCS championship appearance will be the fourth for Fordham, who also made the championship in 2002, 2007 and 2013.
Online ticket sales will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday November 23 while phone orders will begin on Monday, November 24 at 10:00 AM. Current season ticket holder’s seats will be placed on hold for purchase while all other seats are open to buy. Season Ticket holders looking to purchase their seats as well as the general public looking to purchase tickets can call the ticket office at (718) 817-4759 starting at 10 AM on Monday, November 24 to purchase seats. Season ticket holders will have until Tuesday, November 25 at 5 PM to purchase their seats. After this time they will become available to the general public for purchase.

General Admission- $15
*Senior Citizen General Admission (65 years and older)- $10
*Child General Admission (2-12 years of age)- $5
