Fordham University Unveiled the 2014-15 Schedule for the Men’s Basketball Team on Tuesday, as the Rams are getting geared up for a new season. There will be games that  feature a non-conference contest at The World’s Most Famous Arena, games against two Big 10 schools, and a visit to the newest Atlantic 10 member, Davidson College.

The Men’s Basketball team will have an opportunity to play 16 of its 29 contest at the historic Rose Hill Gym in 2014-14, while also making four appearances on National Television during the Atlantic 10 Season.

The 2014-2015  schedule includes eleven schools that played in the postseason last year with seven NCAA participants. Atlantic 10 opponents who advanced to the NCAA tournament last year include Dayton, George Washington, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph’s, Saint Louis and VCU while Manhattan also appeared in last year’s tournament. Davidson and St. John’s played in the 2014 postseason NIT tournament while Penn State and Siena appeared in the 2014 CBI tournament, with Siena winning the championship.

Fordham opens the 2014-2015 season, Fordham’s 112th varsity season, on Friday night, November 14, as they host the New York Institute of Technology in the Rose Hill Gym. It will be the first ever  meeting between the two schools.
