The Nets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Nets home opener at Barclays Center on Monday, November 3. After making it to the Conference Semifinals the expectations are high for this squad.

Kevin Garnett, who is expected to return for his 20th season in 2014-15, averaged just 6.6 rebounds per game last season, which led the team. Brook Lopez, who is coming off foot and ankle surgery, averaged 6.0 rebounds in just 17 games.

Brooklyn will also look to Deron Williams and  Joe Johnson to continue their high-calibur play, while 2014 NBA Draft Picks Cory Jefferson, Markel Brown and Xavier Thames all hope to step-up and make an impact for the team.

Mason Plumlee is expected to step-up after being named to the NBA All-Roookie First team, and has impressed in the Off-Season.  Plumlee played 70 games (starting 22), averaged 7.4 points on 65.9-percent shooting and grabbed 4.4 rebounds with the Nets, and saw some time with the USA World Cup roster.

With new Head Coach Lionel Hollins  and the Barclays Center set to host the 2014-15 NBA All-Star game, it is a great time to be a Nets fan.

Tickets are available for purchase by calling 800-4NBA-TIX, by visiting brooklynnets.com or at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center. Group tickets are also available by calling 855-GROUP-BK.

  1. October 29th the Nets play the Celtics! Got my tickets already and I can’t wait. First home game I’ve ever been to. Was wondering if anyone has ever used the Barclays Center Parking Lots at 161 S Elliott Pl #1 Brooklyn, NY 11217. I hear it’s cheaper to buy tix online in advance. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    • @BlackFridayMagazine we are glad you got your tickets to see the Nets Play. It is going to be an exciting season for sure. We have never had the experience of going to a Parking lot, but we will be sure to ask the res of our fans and see what they say. Thanks for dropping by and checking out our work-hope to see you again and Go Nets!
