Brooklyn Nets Star Brook Lopez and Coca-Cola Team-Up to Get the Ball Rolling at Barclays Center

Athletics and Academics were both huge parts to Brooklyn Nets’ star Brook Lopez upbringing, as the combination helped to shape the Young Star into the NBA Player that he is today.

Lopez took some time on Wednesday to give back, while teaming up with Coca-Cola to ‘Get the Ball Rolling’ with the future stars of not only the Brooklyn Nets, but just about any sport out there.

With 50 children from the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club in attendance, Lopez and Coca-Cola treated the future to a Question and Answer session, along with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play on the practice court at the Barclays Center.

Lopez, who not only gave a few words to the kids before the ‘Get the Ball Rolling’ Clinic, but he also opened up the floor later on to some very intense questions afterward.

At the end the hope for both Lopez and the folks at Coca-Cola is the fact that the future of the NBA, MLB or whatever sport learned that healthy living, along with staying in school will ensure a bright future for all in attendance.
