New York Liberty celebrate return to Big Apple with a Ride on the Circle Line ‘Beast’

The New York Liberty took on ‘The Beast” speedboat in a ride that will surely be one to remember for the team, as the ladies return home to the Big Apple following a three-year stint in Newark, NJ.

In a symbolic ride across the Hudson River aboard The BEAST Speedboat from Surf City Megabar & Restaurant in New Jersey, arriving at Pier 83 in New York City.

For those who have never experienced The Beast before, it is  thrill of a ride on a a 70-foot, custom-built offshore racing powerboat, that can easily go 45 miles-per-hour, as the team took time to take in a bit of history at the Statue of Liberty before returning to Pier 83 in New York and to a crowd of adoring fans. 

New York will get to play their first official game at Madison Square Garden this Saturday, May 17 at 8:00 p.m. against Elena Delle Donne, Epiphanny Prince and the Chicago Sky.
