Major movements have been made by the staff of Family Wrestling Entertainment (FWE Wrestling) who had to make some major changes to the Open Weight Grand Prix show.

On the FWE Facebook page, the staff announced that Jay Lethal and Mike Bennett could no longer be on the card due to a new rule by the folks at Ring of Honor Wrestling. Lethal and Bennett could no longer be on the iPPV’s that the folks at FWE will hold in the future.

There was no word as to how this ruling came about or why it had to happen but now the folks at FWE Wrestling had to scramble to make replacements for the mega show taking place on October 12.

The first of the two announcements came on the FWE Facebook page tonight as Ted DiBiase, Jr. was announced as the competitor taking the place of Jay Lethal to take on Colt Cabana. Fans will have to stay tuned to see who the company announces to take the place of Bennett who was set to take on Jorge Santi on 10/12.

There is also a lot of other things to stay tuned too in the world of FWE Stars potentially no longer being with the company due to this new ruling by Ring of Honor.

Thus far Maria Kanellis, Kasey Ray, The Young Bucks, Brian Kendrick and Paul London have all been seen on Ring of Honor programming. Young star Jorge Santi also had his ROH TV debut not that long ago. It maybe a difference between the fact that Bennett and Lethal have a full time contract where as some of the others may not (though Kanellis may have one).

Do stay tuned to see what will happen next, for now though fans will have a ton of great matches to look forward too and the last unveil for the opponent for Santi.

Another announcement from the folks at FWE Wrestling is that Karen Jarrett will make two appearances on behalf of the company. The first is on 10/5 for the Legends of the Ring and as a part of the pre-show meet and greet at the Open Weight Grand Prix on 10/12.

Make sure to stay tuned as we hope to stay on top of everything happening with FWE Wrestling.
