Gurenlian who had 232-of-362 face-off record finished up 2013 with the best percentage in the history of the league, winning 64.1 of the draws he took. Greg’s 109 ground balls this season also tied him at number four of the most ground balls won in a single season.

“Being named as an All-MLL player is a huge honor,” said Gurenlian.  “Looking at the names I’m mentioned with is humbling.  Since I started playing the game so late, I believe my skill level is starting to finally reach its apex at the perfect time, even though I’m 29.  Between the stable organization I’m with and the great chemistry I’ve developed with my wings, this honor is for the entire face-off unit not just myself.”

The Major League Lacrosse season will conclude after the championship game is played on Sunday, August 25 at 3:00 p.m. The Fourth Seeded Charlotte Hounds will take on the Number One seeded and undefeated Denver Outlaws on Saturday at 1 p.m. following that game will be the Number Three Seeded Hamilton Nationals taking on Number Two Chesapeake Bayhawks at 4 p.m.

The winners of Saturday’s games will face-off on Sunday, fans who wish to see all three games can do so as they will air on the ESPN 2 network.
