The New York Cosmos announced on Wednesday that the club will hold an open practice on July 10 at Hofstra University Shuart Stadium. This practice is free and available to the public to attend from 6-9 p.m. ET.
“Our team is really coming together right now, so this will be the perfect time for our supporters to come see us in action,” head coach Giovanni Savarese said. “We are very excited to give our fans a taste of what to expect this season and to meet them after the training is completed.”
Prior to practice the team will host a Fan Fest on the Shuart Stadium field. It will feature games and interactive activities for children of all ages, including an inflatable mini-pitch.
Following the Fan Fest, an open practice is set for 7 and concludes at 8:30 p.m. At the conclusion of practice players will sign autographs for fans in attendance.
Fans that have already purchased Cosmos season tickets can pick up their commemorative ticket box at this practice.
The Cosmos are set to open their rebooted NASL season on August 3, and fans can purchase tickets for that match at the Shuart Stadium box office.
